Lavender & Musk

I was skeptical that lavender could feel this rich and grounded, but the musk gives it a warm, almost velvety depth that lingers for hours. It’s the kind of scent that makes an ordinary evening feel a little more special—calming and sensual at the same time.

I put a few drops on before bed and the lavender hits first, soft and floral, but the musk underneath keeps it from being too sweet. Half an hour later it’s still there, warm and grounding, and I actually slept through the night without tossing.

The dry-down is where this really shines—the musk grounds the lavender so it doesn’t go too powdery or sharp. I’ve been spritzing it on my pillow before bed and the calming floral middle note lingers just enough to help me unwind without being overwhelming.
